Clover History Series

The more time we spend in the Rock Hill, Clover, and York area, the more we like it.  We have a lot of friends in the York County Geocaching Association (YoGo) and they place quality geocaches.
The area is rich with opportunity for outdoor activity.  The Catawba River is a major draw for paddling.

Our goal for today was to spend the day antiquing, dinning, and geocaching.  Our caching focus was the Clover History Series, highlighting several areas around to city of Clover.

In order to complete the challenge, you must obtain a "passport" highlighting the eleven caches used in the challenge.  After finding each cache, you must answer a question relating to the site of the cache.  After completion, you can turn in your passport and receive a commemorative non-trackable coin.  We are currently awaiting ours to be mailed to us.

We love local history, so this series was really enjoyable.

After completing the series, we went into Rock Hill for dinner, and was caught in a horrific thunderstorm.  At least the weather waited until we were off the trail.  Life is good.
