We attended the joint SCGA/USCGA CITO @ Long Shoals Sliding Rock on Saturday August 18th, 2007. The drive up Hwy #11, the Foothills Parkway was gorgous.
We had a great turnout and rid the area of a lot of debris. The water was cool, and the kids (and the kids at heart) had a great time on the rocks. What is a CITO you ask? Its a geocaching term that stands for Cache In, Trash Out. I'll never understand why anyone would trash such a lovley area.
