Woo Hoo!!!

A new CD is to be released on October 2, 2007
Its titled "Magic".

Everyone that knows me, also knows how crazy I am about Bruce Springsteen and the E. Street Band. Bruce and the band have been together since the early seventies. I have seen Springsteen with the E. Street band twice, solo twice and with a house band once. Unless you have seen one of his shows (marathons), which normally lasts 3 to 4 hours, it is hard to understand. To me, no one writes or sings about the everyday struggles and triumphs, and the social injustices, with more compassion and thought than this man.

He has been labeled recently as unpatriotic for not supporting this war. I believe there is nothing more patriotic than questioning what your goverment is doing, instead of jumping in on blind faith. What could be more patriotic than carrying the flag for the hungry, and the homeless. For wanting the United States to be a true leader in the world, promoting basic human rights, equal rights, safe working conditions and a livable wage.

He said recently the America we hold in our hearts is waiting.

Its my hope we all soon find it.

Update: August 28, 2007-

The 2007 E Street Band itineraryHere's what we've been waiting for. And if you don't see what you've been waiting for... like hey, no shows south of D.C.?... don't worry just yet: If history serves as any guide, Springsteen and the E Street Band won't be calling a halt to the new tour after two-and-a-half months.
