This is a photo I took in the courtyard this year when I was at the S.C. Fire Academy. It is a very poignant reminder of sacrifices made by so many. The plaques behind the statue hold the names of all S.C. Firemen that have lost their lives in the line of duty. There is also an eternal flame.
