We recently visited the town of Port Royal South Carolina. While there, we did a little geocaching and came across this very interesting virtual cache
GCJRGE.
GCJRGE.
There is a very interesting story here. This buoy broke free from its mooring in April,1970. A year later, it was spotted off the coast of Scotland. This buoy is located within a very small park in the middle of a small, out of the way neighborhood. If not for geocaching, I doubt this site would get very many visitors. That is sad, because its a story worth telling.
The things you see while on the geo-trail.

You know this is why I do what we do. I have recently started messing with Munzee again. I see an opportunity to get to some of those places we can't go with caching. If you know what I am referring to. ;-)
Nicely done on this piece. I will be sure to make my way there.
